Kim Beck's book "A Flock of Signs" is launching TONIGHT at Printed Matter. In addition to the book, she also installed arrow signs in the bookstore, which look great. There's blank signs, some have words, some are informational, some nonsensical. The title says it all! New submission guidelines for 2014 are UP here on our website. This year, we've switched to receiving submissions via email instead of requiring physical packets. We hope to see lots and lots of your work! Make sure to submit by June 30th to be considered.

Our next exhibition - "A Great Piece of Turf" by Kim Beck - includes lots and lots of work on paper. Today Rob basically set up a mini framers work station and framed over two dozen drawings!First you assemble the frame bars..
and then you attach the work to a backing,
place the backing in the frame and seal it off.
just like that!

Kim Beck @TSA opening tonight & getting ready for Dallas Art Fair

RR&P: Repetition, Rhythm, and Pattern is opening TONIGHT at TSA Brooklyn. Mixed Greens boasts not only one, not only two, but a whopping three connections to the show! The show's curator, Lindsey Landfried, was a former intern at Mixed Greens, and included Kim Beck's work in the group show. Naomi Reis, the assistant director of TSA Brooklyn, will have a window installation up at Mixed Greens during the summer months. The show looks great, so make sure to go check it out!
Also happening next week is the Dallas Art Fair! All the work has shipped, and we are ready to go. This year we are bringing works of Alessandra ExpĆ³sito, Howard Fonda, Brad Greenwood, and Mary Temple. We'll come back with more photos of the booth so stay tuned!
