Two SUPER exciting announcements

Mixed Greens is absolutely THRILLed to let you know some exciting news!


First, Donna Dennis has won the Award of Merit Medal for Sculpture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The winners were chosen from the artists who had been invited to participate in the Invitational Exhibition of Visual Arts. Huge, huge, huge congrats to Donna for being so awesome! The Invitational Exhibition (blogged here) will be up until April 12, 2014. You can read their press release here.


The second news is that Rob Carter is an AMERICAN!!! He swore in today and he is officially a yankee. Look at him all dapper with a certificate in his hands, and a new Howard Fonda painting in the back.


He plans to continue looking dapper all day as he installs our upcoming Howard Fonda solo show. Make sure you come to our opening this Thursday and check the show out!

VOLTA updates and more

Only one day remains until VOLTA and concurrent art fairs open in New York City, and we are installing away in SoHo. Here is a sneak peek of Rob and Mark at our booth getting ready.



According to my most recent correspondence with Rob, the booth is now almost completely installed and looking good. We hope to see you soon at the fair!

On the Interwebz, Courtney, Ben, and Letha were spotted looking at art with a serious look on their faces. Can you spot them from this screenshot?

Meanwhile on Tuesday, Heather went to the opening of the 2014 Invitational Exhibition at the Academy of Arts and Letters to support Donna Dennis, who was in our Hooray for HOLLYwood! show. It is beautifully installed outside, so make sure you go see the show when you're uptown.
