Love.According to Artforum.com, Giulio Malgara, the recently appointed president of the Venice Biennale, has stepped down due to Silvio Berlusconi's resignation. "Malgara’s appointment was strongly contested—following the announcement last month, the mayor of Venice, Giorgio Orsoni, immediately issued statement saying: “I am convinced that Giulio Malgara is an unsuitable person to carry out the role of chairman of the Venice Biennale and that it would be a mistake to confirm him in this position.”
