Frieze is for hipsters...or not
Frieze New York seems to be catering to a very specific crowd:
: by Frankies Spuntino, Fat Radish, Roberta's, and obvi Intelligensia coffee...this is nice mix of various hipster vibes: LES/Bushwick/Venice, CA.
: by The Standard Biergarten. Oooh, feels like laid-back, pre-summer prepping at a Meatpacking venue. Very casual. No signs of rose' here.
: Wythe and Hotel Americano are both high on the suggested list. What this says about the visitor: "not afraid to stay off the beaten path" a/k/a "I have a car service lined up for the weekend." On the other hand, I like the rather affordable hotels included on this list.
: The Mulberry sponsored VIP dinner will feature a performance by Lana Del Rey
. This is a nice pairing of high and low.
: But can the hipsters come out to Randall's Island when the tickets are $40
??? I see that the reduced rate is $25, but still!
